2. Personal data collected and purposes
When you use our photography and videography services, we collect the following data:
- Contact and quote form: last name, first name, email address, phone number, event date and location, type of service requested, message.
- Purpose: this data is used strictly to answer your enquiry, prepare personalised offers and follow up on the agreed photography services.
- Technical browsing data: anonymised IP address, connection metadata necessary for the secure operation of our web server (Nginx).
3. Legal basis and consent
The processing of your data is based on the performance of a pre-contractual or contractual measure (requesting a quote or carrying out a photo session) or on your explicit consent when sending a message.
4. Security and hosting
Your data is protected by rigorous technical measures:
- End-to-end encryption of all communications via HTTPS (TLS/SSL) with the HSTS protocol active.
- Secure server hosted on Linux with strict access control policies.
- No personal data is sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
5. Cookies and analytics services
Our website applies the requirements of Google Consent Mode v2 : by default, no non-essential advertising or tracking cookies are placed on your device. Any measurement tags operate without persistent cookies until you have consented.
6. Retention period
Data submitted through quote forms is retained for the period necessary to manage the business relationship and comply with Swiss statutory accounting retention obligations (10 years for contractual invoices).
7. Your rights (nLPD)
Under the new Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, you have the following rights:
- The right to free access to your stored personal data.
- The right to rectification if your information is inaccurate or incomplete.
- The right to erasure or restriction of processing, subject to Swiss statutory retention obligations.

Enquiries sent through forms
Contact details, project information and any attached images are used to answer your enquiry. Enquiries submitted through the new process are processed on our Oracle server in Switzerland and sent to TimFocus via Infomaniak email. The ALTCHA antispam check is hosted on our server, without transferring your enquiry to an external antispam service.
A private technical copy of the enquiry is retained for a maximum of 30 days to investigate and resolve sending incidents. It is deleted during service cleanup operations. Received emails remain in the mailbox to follow up on your conversation; requesting a quote does not create any automatic marketing subscription. A subscription request must still be processed separately before any subscription.

TIMFOCUS Academy: private student area
Access to academy.timfocus.ch is reserved for invited students or those who have purchased a course. The name, email address, authorised courses, cryptographically derived password, sessions, notes and progress are stored on the TIMFOCUS server in Switzerland to provide learning support. Personal notes remain private; messages posted in the lounge and their authors' names are visible to other logged-in members and Tim, who can moderate them. Email addresses are not displayed to students.
The technical login cookie is valid on the device for a maximum of 30 days; logging out revokes it. Access to the Academy does not create any marketing subscription. A student may request access to their data, correction, account closure and deletion of educational data by contacting dylan@timfocus.ch. Data is retained for the duration of educational access, then deleted or anonymised on request, subject to obligations applicable to accounting records of purchases.
